Nice to meet you! We are Damien, Terra, Mesa and Mahealani - the faces and hands behind Mahealani Farms.

We are a family of four who work and run a small farm in Carpinteria, California, growing small row crops and about 15 varieties of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.

Currently, you can find us at farmer’s markets every week in Santa Barbara, Ojai and Santa Monica. We offer direct to consumer sales and provide wholesale to restaurants and chefs. 

Through endless research, we have only begun to understand the power and benefit of mushrooms, and we are passionate about developing products that are nature based, effective, and of the highest quality possible. 

Every product we make is produced with only the fruiting body of mushrooms that we grow ourselves at our farm. On the farm we do our best to source only certified organic inputs, and we source everything from our cultures to our substrate blend with raw goods made in the USA.  While we are experts in mushroom cultivation, we have partnered with a biochemist in Los Angeles who takes our fruiting body mushrooms and formulates the finest skincare products with the deep understanding of biology and chemistry.
